A giving circle is formed when individuals come together and pool their dollars, decide together where to give the money and learn together about their community and philanthropy.

When you join the SIR Foundation Giving Circle for the Advancement of Women, you are giving intentionally and thoughtfully. Your contribution is more than money; it is your time and voice making an impact for IR research.

Vision

Build a community of philanthropists to provide career development opportunities for women in interventional radiology. We are dedicated to engaging all generations of women in interventional radiology through the power of community philanthropy.

Members join the Giving Circle for the Advancement of Women through a gift to SIR Foundation. The giving circle members are presented with opportunities to fund and the opportunity with the most votes receive the donated dollars.

Interested applicants will apply for the specified opportunity and will be funded. One year later, the impact of their collective giving is shown to the GCAW and then the GCAW chooses the next round of opportunities to fund.
